If you have requested to cancel your MintServers subscription but have changed your mind, you can easily resume your service as long as it has not been permanently terminated. Reversing the cancellation prevents service interruption and data loss.
This guide will show you how to cancel your cancellation request and keep your server running smoothly.
When Can You Resume a Service?
It is important to act within the correct timeframe. The window to reverse a cancellation depends on which type you originally selected.
- End of Term Cancellation: This can be resumed at any point before the scheduled termination date.
- Immediate Cancellation: This can only be resumed within 24 hours of submitting the cancellation request.
How to Resume Your Service
The process to reverse a cancellation is very straightforward and is done directly from your dashboard.
- Log into your account at mintservers.com/dashboard and choose the server that is pending cancellation.
- Simply click the red Do not Cancel button. This will immediately revoke the cancellation request and reactivate your subscription!
What Happens After Resuming?
Once you reverse the cancellation, your service returns to its normal active state.
- Your service will continue to run without any interruption.
- All of your data, files, and settings will remain exactly as they were.
- Your regular billing cycle will continue as normal, and you will not be charged any extra fees for resuming.
🛠️ What If the Termination Date Has Passed?
If your service has already been permanently terminated, you cannot use this process and will need to order a brand new server.
However, you can still contact the support team to see if your data is recoverable! Terminated data may occasionally be retained for up to 5 days after an overdue payment. Just open a support ticket and our team will gladly jump in and see if we can restore your files to a new service.
