Adding a custom server URL is an excellent way to direct your players to your community website, Discord server, or donation page. When configured correctly, a "Visit Website" button will appear directly on your server's listing in the Rust server browser.
Let us walk through how to easily set up your server URL using your MintServers panel.
Step 1: Open Your Game Settings
You can manage your server URL directly from our built-in configuration menu without needing to edit any text files manually.
- Log into your MintServers game panel and select your Rust server.
- Navigate to the Game Settings tab on the left-hand sidebar.
Step 2: Add Your URL
Now you just need to drop your specific link into the configuration field.
- Scroll through the settings until you find the field labeled URL.
- Paste your website or Discord invite link into the box.
โน๏ธ Link Format Tip:
It is highly recommended to include the full https:// prefix (for example: https://mintservers.com) so the button works smoothly when players click it in-game.

Step 3: Save and Restart
Rust needs to reboot to apply the new listing details to the community browser.
- Click the Save button at the bottom of your Game Settings page.
- Navigate to the Console tab and Restart your server.
Once your server is back online, the webpage button will be fully active on your server browser listing!
