Frequently asked questions

                How do I make a two-line MOTD?

In server.properties, put
between the lines: motd=§aLine one
§bLine two.

How do I centre my MOTD?

Pad the line with spaces. Click Centre and the tool works out the spaces from the real character widths.

Why does my MOTD show strange characters like §?

The file was saved in the wrong encoding. Write § as §, as the server.properties output does.
