Whether you're dealing with a corrupted save, wrapping up a season, or just want a clean slate to explore with new settings, wiping your Palworld world only takes a few minutes. This guide covers backing up what you have, deleting the old world, and generating a fresh one.
PalWorldSettings.ini rates and rules, lives in a separate folder and won't be touched.
Step 1: Back Up Your Current World (Optional)
If you want to keep a copy of your existing world, the easiest way is to log into your MintServers panel and create a manual backup from the Backups tab before doing anything else.
If you'd rather save a copy yourself, Stop your server, go to the Files tab, and download the folder found at Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/. Keep it somewhere safe in case you want to restore it or transfer it later.
Step 2: Delete Your World Data
- Log into your MintServers panel and make sure your Palworld server is completely Stopped.
- Go to the Files tab in the left sidebar.
- Navigate to
Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/. - Delete the folder inside it, usually named with a long string of random letters and numbers. This folder contains your entire current world.
Step 3: Start Your Server
Start your server as normal. Since there's no world data left for it to load, Palworld will automatically generate a brand new world in a fresh folder the moment it starts up. Give it a minute, then connect to explore your new world from scratch.
If your new world doesn't generate correctly or you run into any issues along the way, no worries! Just open a support ticket and our team will be happy to help you get a fresh start.
