Admin access is what lets you actually run your Palworld server day to day: kicking troublemakers, banning repeat offenders, teleporting to players, saving the world on demand, and shutting the server down safely. None of it is available until you authenticate as an admin, so that's the first thing to set up.
This guide covers setting your admin password, unlocking admin rights in-game, and the full list of commands available once you're authenticated.
Step 1: Set Your Admin Password
- Log into your MintServers panel and select your Palworld server.
- Go to Game Settings in the left sidebar.
- Find the Admin Password field and set it to a password of your choice.
- Save your changes, then Restart your server.
Step 2: Authenticate In-Game
- Join your Palworld server as normal.
- Press Enter to open the chat box.
- Type
/AdminPasswordfollowed by the password you set, for example/AdminPassword MyPassword123, then press Enter.
If it worked, you'll see a "You are now an Admin" message in chat, and every command below becomes available to you.
/AdminPassword again. Commands are also case-sensitive — /Save works, but /save does not — so match the capitalization shown below.
Admin Commands Reference
Once you're authenticated, all of these commands are typed directly into the in-game chat box.
Player & Moderation Commands
/ShowPlayers— Lists everyone currently connected, along with their SteamID. Run this first whenever you need an ID for one of the commands below./KickPlayer [SteamID]— Removes a player from the server. They're free to reconnect afterward./BanPlayer [SteamID]— Bans a player, preventing them from rejoining./UnBanPlayer [SteamID]— Reverses a ban and allows that player to reconnect.
Teleportation Commands
/TeleportToPlayer [SteamID]— Teleports you to that player's location./TeleportToMe [SteamID]— Teleports that player to your location.
Server Management Commands
/Info— Displays basic server information./Save— Manually saves the world. Good habit before shutting down or making risky changes./Broadcast [message]— Sends a message to every connected player./Shutdown [seconds] [message]— Shuts the server down after a delay, with an optional warning message sent to players first./DoExit— Force-stops the server immediately, without a countdown./ToggleSpectate— Switches you into spectator mode so you can fly around and observe without being seen. Press the\key, or run the command again, to switch back.
/ShowPlayers to get their SteamID. In-game, you can also double right-click a player's name in the player list to copy their SteamID directly, instead of typing it out.
If you ever suspect someone has gotten hold of your admin password without permission, change it from Game Settings and Restart your server right away, then ban the account that misused it. If anything doesn't work as expected, no worries! Just open a support ticket and our team will be happy to help you get admin access sorted out.
