Your server must have a server token configured before it will appear on the public list. If you have not done this yet, please learn how to add a server token here!
Step 1: Locate Your Cluster Name
Before launching the game, you need to know exactly what your server is called on the public list.
- Navigate to the MintServers Dashboard at
https://mintservers.com/dashboardand log into your account. - Click on your Don't Starve Together server from the list and select Open Game Panel.
- Go to the Startup tab on the left-hand menu in your server panel.
- Take note of the Cluster Name field. This is the exact name you will search for in the game.
Step 2: Start Your Server
Navigate back to the Console tab and click the Start button to boot up your server and make it available for players to join.
Step 3: Launch the Game and Connect
- Launch Don't Starve Together on your computer and wait for it to load to the main menu.
- From the main menu, click Browse Games to access the server browser.
- Under the Filter tab, enter the cluster name you copied from Step 1 into the search box.
- Select your server from the results and click Join to connect and begin your cooperative survival adventure!

- Missing Token: Ensure your server has a valid server token generated and properly configured in your startup settings, otherwise it will remain hidden from the browser.
- Server Offline: Verify the server is fully running and shows as "Online" in the MintServers panel.
- Name Mismatch: Double-check you are searching for the correct Cluster Name without any typos.
- Version Mismatch: Check that your local game is fully updated and matches the version of Don't Starve Together running on the server.
- Server Full: Make sure the server is not full or password protected without you having the correct credentials.
