Want to hunt for Easter eggs or battle festive mobs in the underground? Core Keeper features several fantastic seasonal events that introduce unique items, enemies, and decorations! Instead of waiting for the real-world calendar to sync up, you can manually force your server into any season at any time.
Let us walk through your MintServers panel to get your seasonal event configured and running perfectly.
Always make sure your server is completely stopped on your MintServers panel before making changes to your configuration files. If the server is running, it will overwrite your edits!
Step 1: Locate the Configuration File
To change the season, we simply need to edit a single line of text in your server's main configuration file.
- Log into your MintServers panel and click the Stop button to safely shut down your server.
- On the left-hand sidebar, navigate to the Files tab to open your File Manager.
- Navigate to the following folder path to locate your config file:
📁 server (main server directory)
Step 2: Change the Season ID
Inside the file, you will find a setting for the season. Core Keeper uses numbers to represent each seasonal event. Here is the master list of Season IDs:
0= No Event (Default standard gameplay)1= Easter (Great Egg Hunt)2= Halloween (Creepy Costume Party)3= Christmas (Season of Reason)4= Valentine's Day5= Anniversary
- Locate the
"Season"line in the file and change the number to match the event you want to play. For example, if you want to play the Halloween event, your file should look like this:
Step 3: Save and Restart
- Ensure you have not accidentally deleted any quotation marks or commas in the file!
- Click the Save Content button at the top right of the screen.
- Navigate to the Console tab and click Start.
Once your server boots up, the new seasonal event will be active and you can start collecting those exclusive drops!
🛠️ Troubleshooting Seasonal Settings
The server wiped the setting back to default: This usually means there was a syntax typo when editing the file, such as an accidental space or a missing quotation mark elsewhere in the document. Ensure your formatting is exact!
No worries if your seasonal event still refuses to load in properly! Just open a support ticket and I (Jben) or our team will gladly jump in and instruct you on how to resolve the configuration together.
