How much RAM does a modpack server need?

It depends on the pack. Lighter packs run well on 4 to 6 GB, while kitchen-sink packs like ATM10 want 10 GB or more. Every plan includes unlimited RAM, so you never have to guess a number up front.

Do my friends have to pay to join?

Only the server is paid for. Your friends install the pack through the CurseForge app or their launcher, add your server address and join. There is no player slot limit on any plan.

Can I change modpacks later?

Yes. Switch from the panel whenever you like, run several packs as separate instances, or go back to vanilla and plugins. Daily backups on MAX and ULTRA keep your worlds safe while you experiment.
