The minimum requirements will let you play Hytale at 30+ FPS on the Low preset at 1080p resolution. Here is what you need:

Streaming/Recording Requirements (1440p at 60 FPS)

Content creators who want a stable framerate with high-quality video capture and streaming at 1440p will need higher-end hardware:

• OS: 64-bit Windows 10 (version 1809) or Windows 11.
• CPU: Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3800X (or better).
• RAM: 32 GB.
• GPU: NVIDIA RTX 30 Series, AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series, or Intel Arc A-Series.
• Storage: NVMe SSD with at least 50 GB of free space.

These specs ensure stable framerates during high-quality video capture. Hypixel Studios recommends using AV1 or HEVC encoding for better quality-per-file-size. It is also ideal to use a separate drive exclusively for video recordings.

Storage Requirements

Hytale procedurally generates a world that can, in practice, grow without a fixed limit. While the base installation is around 8 GB, your saved worlds will expand over time depending on how much you explore and build.

Hypixel Studios notes the minimum recommended free space is 10 GB, but realistically, allocating 20+ GB is a much safer target for long-term play. An NVMe SSD is highly recommended to improve loading times and reduce chunk stutters.

Understanding View Distance and Multiplayer Bandwidth

View distance is the most impactful performance slider. Higher view distances increase the load on your CPU and GPU, and they dictate the necessary multiplayer bandwidth.

• 192 blocks: Minimum 2 Mbit/s, recommended 4 Mbit/s.
