Step 1: Access Your Server Dashboard

Navigate to https://mintservers.com/dashboard and log into your account.

Click on your Left 4 Dead 2 server from the server list to access the server management page.

Step 2: Open the Game Panel

Once on your server page, click the "Open Game Panel" button. This will take you to the control panel where you can manage your server settings.

Step 3: Copy Your Server IP Address

In the game panel, locate your server's IP address and port number. Copy this information as you'll need it to connect to your server.

The format will look like this: 158.62.204.17:27015

Step 4: Launch Left 4 Dead 2

Open Left 4 Dead 2 from Steam.

Wait for the game to fully load to the main menu before proceeding.

Step 5: Enable Developer Console

From the Left 4 Dead 2 main menu, click "Options".

Select "Keyboard/Mouse" from the options menu.

In the console, type the connect command using your server's IP and port from Step 3.

Format: connect 158.62.204.17:27015

Press Enter to execute the command and connect to your server.

If you're having trouble connecting, verify these common issues:

  1. Ensure your server is running and online in the game panel
  2. Double-check the IP address and port number
  3. Verify the developer console is properly enabled
  4. Make sure you're using the correct connect command syntax
  5. Check that your server isn't full (L4D2 supports up to 8 players)
