How to Join a Terraria Server

Terraria is an action-packed 2D sandbox adventure game that's perfect for multiplayer exploration and building with friends. Whether you're hosting your own Terraria server for cooperative adventures or joining an existing world, connecting to your server is straightforward through the game's multiplayer interface. This guide will walk you through accessing your hosted server details and connecting to start your underground adventure.

Step 1: Access Your Server Details

Navigate to https://mintservers.com/dashboard and log into your account.

Click on your Terraria server and then "Open Game Panel".

Troubleshooting

If you're having trouble connecting, verify these common issues:

  1. If you see "only journey characters may enter a journey server" - your character isn't meant for journey mode, or any other game mode same applies
  2. Ensure your server is running and online in the game panel
  3. Double-check the IP address and port number are correct
  4. Verify you have the same version of Terraria as the server
  5. Check that the server isn't full (default max is 8 players)
  6. Make sure any server password is entered correctly if required
