How To Fix Panel Connection Issues

If you are seeing the following message in your MintServers panel, no worries! Let's fix that together. Your server is almost certainly online and running perfectly.

"We're having some trouble connecting to your server, please wait"

The issue is simply that your web browser or local network cannot reach the panel's connection to the server. This error is almost always caused by something sitting between your PC and our network, such as your ISP's DNS, a local firewall, an antivirus program, or a routing issue.

ℹ️ Important Distinction:
This panel error is not the same as failing to connect to your game server in-game. The game itself uses a completely different protocol and usually works fine even when the web panel does not!

Quick Checks

Before changing any advanced network settings, try these quick troubleshooting steps:

  1. Disable extensions: Turn off any adblocker, antivirus, or browser firewall extensions temporarily for the panel domain.
  2. Use Incognito: Open the MintServers panel in a private/incognito window to rule out cached data or conflicting browser extensions.
  3. Check your clock: Confirm your PC's date and time are 100% correct. An incorrect system time will break secure HTTPS connections!
  4. Try a hotspot: Try connecting to the panel using a different network, such as your phone's mobile data, to confirm if the issue is strictly local.

If the panel works on your mobile data but not your home network, the fix is on your home network. Keep reading below!

Method 1: Use Cloudflare WARP (Fastest Fix)

Cloudflare WARP is a free, safe application that routes your DNS through Cloudflare. It bypasses most ISP-level DNS and routing issues that block our panel.

  1. Download and install the free Cloudflare WARP app.
  2. Turn the switch to "On" and reload your MintServers panel.

Note: You only need WARP running when you are using the control panel. You do not need to leave it on to play your games!

Method 2: Set Cloudflare DNS Permanently

If you would rather not run an extra application, you can point your PC directly at Cloudflare's DNS resolver. This usually fixes the issue permanently.

Windows 10 / 11

  1. Right-click the network icon in your system tray (bottom right of your screen) and select Network and Internet settings.
  2. Click Change adapter options (Windows 10) or Advanced network settings → More network adapter options (Windows 11).
  3. Right-click your active connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and choose Properties.
  4. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
  5. Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the following:
🌐 Cloudflare DNS
Preferred DNS server: 1.1.1.1
Alternate DNS server: 1.0.0.1
  1. Click OK and close all windows.
  2. Restart your PC and reload the panel!

macOS

  1. Open System Settings (or System Preferences).
  2. Go to Network, select your active connection, and click Details (or Advanced on older macOS versions).
  3. Navigate to the DNS tab.
  4. Click the + button under DNS Servers and add 1.1.1.1 and then 1.0.0.1.
  5. Click OK and Apply, then reload the panel.

Method 3: Flush Your DNS Cache

If changing your DNS didn't immediately help, your PC might be stubbornly holding onto a stale DNS record. Flushing the cache forces a completely fresh lookup.

Windows 10 / 11

  1. Press the Windows key, type cmd, right-click Command Prompt, and choose Run as administrator.
  2. Run each of the following commands in order, pressing Enter after each one:
💻 Command Prompt
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
  1. Restart your computer and reload the panel.

macOS

  1. Open Terminal (Applications → Utilities → Terminal).
  2. Run the following command and enter your Mac password when prompted:
💻 Terminal
sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
  1. Restart your browser and reload the panel.

🛠️ Still Not Working?

If none of the above steps resolve the connection issue, please open a support ticket with us! Be sure to include:

  • Your server IP address.
  • A screenshot of the exact panel error.
  • Whether or not the panel successfully loads on a different network (like your phone's mobile data).
