Astro Colony
Want to give yourself or your friends admin rights on your Astro Colony server? Admins are set by adding their Steam64 IDs to the Admin List in your MintServers panel. This guide walks you through finding those IDs and adding them.
Step 1: Finding The Steam64 IDs
Each admin needs to be added by their Steam64 ID, a long number unique to their Steam account.
💡 Pro Tip:
Copy the player's Steam profile link and paste it into any online Steam ID Lookup tool. The Steam64 ID is the long number that usually starts with 7656...
Step 2: Adding Admins In Game Settings
- Log into your MintServers panel and select your Astro Colony server.
- Click the Game Settings tab in the left sidebar.
- Find the Admin List field.
- Enter the Steam64 ID of every admin, separated by commas. It should look like this example:
- Save your changes and restart your server so the new admin list is loaded.
⚠️ Important Warning:
Only enter Steam64 IDs in this field, not Steam usernames or profile links. Do not add spaces or any extra characters between the IDs.
What Admins Can Do
One of the most useful admin features is downloading your server's saves straight from the in-game menu. You can find out how in our Upload an Existing Save guide.
🛠️ Troubleshooting
Admin options are missing in-game:Double-check that the Steam64 ID belongs to the same Steam account the player uses to play Astro Colony, and that you restarted the server after saving.Nothing happens after saving:Make sure the IDs are separated by commas only, with no spaces, letters, or line breaks.Wrong ID format:A Steam64 ID is a 17-digit number that usually starts with 7656. Custom profile names and profile links will not work.
