Smalland: Survive the Wilds
Smalland mods come as .pak files, and the most popular place to find them is Nexus Mods. Installing one on your server only takes a few steps.
⚠️ Important Warning:
Always make sure your server is completely stopped on your MintServers panel before uploading mods.
Installing A Mod
- Download the mod you want from Nexus Mods. If it downloads as a compressed archive, extract it so you have the
.pakfile itself. - Log into your MintServers Games panel and click
Stopto shut down your server. - Click the
Filestab in the left-hand sidebar. - Navigate to the
SMALLAND/Content/Paksfolder:📁 SMALLAND
📁 Content
📁 Paks
📄 yourmod.pak (Upload your mod .pak files here) - Upload the
.pakfile into thePaksfolder. - Click
Startto boot your server with the mod.
💡 Pro Tip:
Read the mod's page on Nexus Mods before installing. It will tell you whether players need to install the mod on their own game too, and which game version it supports.
Troubleshooting
A mod isn't working:Confirm the.pakfile is insideSMALLAND/Content/Paksand that the mod supports the current game version.Server won't start after adding a mod:Stop the server, remove the most recently added.pakfile from thePaksfolder, and start it again. Then add mods back one at a time to find the one causing the issue.Can't find the Paks folder:Make sure you have started the server at least once so its files have been created, then check insideSMALLAND/Content.
