Aloft
Granting admin permissions lets a trusted player help manage your Aloft server. Admins are set using Steam64 IDs, so this guide will show you how to find one and add it to your server.
Step 1: Find the Steam64 ID
Before you can add someone as an admin, you'll need their Steam64 ID — a long string of numbers unique to their Steam account.
💡 Pro Tip:
You can easily find a Steam64 ID by copying the player's Steam profile link and pasting it into any online Steam ID Lookup tool. It will usually start with the numbers 7656...
Step 2: Add the ID on Your Panel
- Log into your MintServers panel and go to your Aloft server's configuration page.
- Find the
Admin IDsfield. - Enter the Steam64 ID you found in Step 1. To add multiple admins, separate each Steam64 ID with a space.
- Save your changes.
- Restart your server for the change to take effect.

🛠️ Troubleshooting
Admin permissions aren't working:Make sure you entered a Steam64 ID and not a username or profile URL, and that you restarted the server after saving.Adding multiple admins isn't working:Double-check each Steam64 ID is separated by a single space, with no commas or extra characters.Not sure if the ID is correct:Run it back through a Steam ID Lookup tool to confirm it resolves to the right profile.
