How to Upload Blueprints to Your Satisfactory Server

Blueprints let you save a section of factory, a whole production line, or a piece of architecture, and stamp it down again instantly instead of rebuilding it by hand. Unlike your inventory or progress, blueprints aren't automatically synced to a dedicated server, they have to be uploaded manually into the right folder. This guide covers finding your blueprint files and getting them onto your MintServers server correctly.

⚠️ Important Warning: Always fully stop your server before uploading blueprint files, and restart it afterward for them to show up in-game.

Step 1: Find Your Blueprint Files

Each blueprint you've created locally is made up of two files:

  • .sbp, the actual layout and structure data. This one is required.
  • .sbpcfg, the icon and description shown in the blueprint menu. Optional, blueprints still work without it, they'll just show a generic icon with no description.

On your own PC, these live in %LocalAppData%\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames\blueprints\, inside a subfolder named after the session the blueprint was created in. If you're downloading a blueprint from a community site instead of using one of your own, grab both files if they're offered.

Step 2: Upload Them to the Matching Session Folder

  1. Stop your server on the MintServers panel.
  2. Open the Files tab and navigate to .config/Epic/FactoryGame/Saved/SaveGames/blueprints/.
  3. Check the server folder one level up if you're not sure of your session's exact name, it needs to match precisely.
  4. If a folder matching your session name doesn't already exist inside blueprints, create one.
  5. Upload your .sbp file (and .sbpcfg if you have it) into that folder.
  6. Start your server back up.

💡 Pro Tip: A mismatched folder name is by far the most common reason a blueprint doesn't show up. If it isn't appearing after a restart, double-check the folder name character-for-character against your session name rather than assuming the upload failed.

Step 3: Use It In-Game

Once your server is back up, open the Blueprint Designer menu (default key B) in-game. Your uploaded blueprint should appear alongside any others created directly on that session.

If you're not sure how to get to your server's Files tab or need a refresher on managing saves in general, our guide to uploading an existing save covers similar ground. If your blueprint still isn't showing up after double-checking the folder name, no worries! Just open a support ticket and our team will be happy to take a look.
