Already have a Stationeers world you have been building on your own computer? You can bring it over to your MintServers server so your friends can join in and it stays online 24/7. Let us get your save uploaded!
⚠️ Important Warning:
Always stop your server on your MintServers panel before uploading a save or changing settings.
Step 1: Find Your Local Save
- Press
Windows Key + Rto open the Run menu. - Enter the following path and click OK:
- Find the folder for the save you want to upload and leave this window open. Note the folder name exactly as written, since you will need it later.
Step 2: Upload The Save To Your Server
- Log into your MintServers panel and click the Stop button at the top right to shut down your server.
- Navigate to the Files tab on the left-hand sidebar.
- Open the
savesfolder:📁 server (your server's root directory)
📁 saves
📁 YourSaveName (Drag and drop your save folder here) - Drag and drop your save folder from Step 1 into the
savesfolder.
💡 Large Save?
If your save folder is very large (over 100MB), uploading it through the browser can be slow or fail. In that case, use SFTP instead. See our SFTP guide to connect with FileZilla or WinSCP (your login details are on the SFTP Details tab of your panel), then upload the save folder into

Step 3: Tell The Server To Load It
- Click Game Settings under the Tools section in the left-hand sidebar.
- In the Save Name field, enter the exact name of the folder you uploaded.
- As a precaution, set World Name to the world your save was created on.
- Save your changes, then click Start at the top right of the panel.
If you would like to keep your existing world private while you play, consider setting a Server Password in Game Settings so nobody unexpected joins and changes your progress. See our Stationeers Configuration guide.
🛠️ Troubleshooting Save Uploads
A brand new world loads instead of your save:The Save Name does not match the folder name. Check the spelling, capitalization, and spaces, and make sure the folder sits directly insidesaves.Upload keeps failing:Try uploading with SFTP instead, as described above.
