How to Add Admins to Your MORDHAU Server

Server admins can use in-game commands to manage maps, kick or ban troublemakers, and keep your MORDHAU server running smoothly. There are two ways to grant admin access: adding specific players permanently by their PlayfabID, or setting a shared Admin Password anyone can log in with.

Step 1: Finding A PlayfabID

To add someone as a permanent admin, you need their PlayfabID rather than their Steam ID. The easiest way to get it:

1. Have the player join your server.
2. Open the in-game console with the tilde key (~).
3. Type playerlist and press Enter. This lists every connected player along with their slot number and PlayfabID.
4. Alternatively, type copyid to copy a specific player's PlayfabID straight to your clipboard.

Step 2: Adding Permanent Admins

1. Log into your MintServers panel and click Stop to safely shut down your server.
2. Navigate to the Files tab and open Game.ini.
3. Under the [/Script/Mordhau.MordhauGameSession] heading, add one Admins= line per PlayfabID:

4. Save the file and Start your server. Anyone on this list is automatically recognized as an admin whenever they join, no login required.

Alternative: Using An Admin Password

Instead of (or alongside) a permanent list, you can set a shared Admin Password. Anyone who knows it can log in as an admin from any account.

After saving and restarting, anyone can type AdminLogin YourAdminPasswordHere in the in-game console to log in as an admin.

Managing Admins In-Game

Once you're logged in as an admin yourself, these console commands let you manage the admin list without editing Game.ini again:

• AddAdmin grants admin to a player immediately.
• RemoveAdmin revokes admin from a player.
• AdminList shows everyone currently listed as an admin.
